ABOUT US

Our history began in 1994 in Italy with the acquisition of the historical brand Taveggia™, and the start of a long history in food and beverage. Taveggia™ represents the quintessential aspect of Italian Quality & Tradition since 1868.

Throughout the years, we have continuously carried on with our historical Taveggia™ wines which represent the elite Italian wines for which the country is known. These wines include Terre di Franciacorta Barriqué, Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico Riserva, Barbera d’Asti, Rosso di Montalcino, Ripasso di Valpolicella, Soave Superiore, Barolo, and others.

Then, in 2019 Rossi Import, LLC was born to import Italian wine to the American market. We imported our Taveggia™ and Rossi wines, and diligently researched the US marketplace. Our original Rossi wines which we imported to America were products of our origins in Pavia, just south of Milan, including Bonarda, Pinot Nero and others. Unfortunately, by trial and error we realized that these beautiful wines just did not sell very well without a great deal of explanation and tasting.

Fast forward to 2021, and after 2 years of exploration and research of the US market, we founded the Rossino™ brand of Italian wines, geared specifically to the US consumer. We have strategic partnerships in Tuscany, Veneto, and Piemonte with whom we produce both our Taveggia™ and Rossino™ wines. Rossino™ on the one hand, is elegant, approachable wine with the best price for quality you will find in Italian everyday wines. Importantly, we never skimp on quality. And our premium line of Taveggia™ wines, on the other hand, are wines of the finest quality one can find from Italy.

Today, our Rossino™ and Taveggia™ brands represent the most important and most famous varietals of Italy, distributed throughout 8 states, and we continue to grow state by state and globally.
